Filming in the Riviera

The California Riviera is a quiet residential community, and while homes here may be attractive for location filming, production activity can disrupt neighbors. To help minimize disruption, the California Riviera Homeowners Association has filming regulations and permit requirements for all location shoots in the Riviera area.
Production Company Requirements:
  • Contact the associations management company
  • Film application and map of film location
  • City permit
  • Donation/Fee
  • Approval must be received prior to filming
  • Film notices are to be distributed to the nearby homes of the film location
Filming Donations:
These donations help cover the cost of enforcing the Association’s CC&Rs and filming rules.
  • $1,000 for the first day
  • $750 for each additional day
  • This includes prep and wrap days
